document, rather you should review our giving guidelines for
compatibility and our information checklist below.
Checklist for requests
Requests for funding should be as brief
and concise as possible and include the organization’s
mission, history, purpose, geographic scope of service, volunteer
participation plus major accomplishments. Please also include
the items listed below:

and volunteers, performance against objectives, self-evaluation
process, duplication with existing programs, impact of the
project/program, stability and breadth of funding sources
both current and long term.

Wells Fargo Educational Matching
Gifts Program
Because our team members, company and
our communities all benefit when educational institutions
are generously supported, Wells Fargo Financial encourages
team member contributions by matching them on a dollar-for-dollar
basis. The team member’s gift to an eligible educational
institution is essentially doubled by the company’s
participation.
Eligibility for an Educational
Matching Gift
All team members — regular, part-time,
and flexible — of Wells Fargo Financial are eligible
and encouraged to participate.
Educational foundations and accredited
educational institutions — pre-kindergarten, elementary,
secondary, junior college, college and graduate, professional
and technical schools — public and private, located
within the United States, it possessions or Canada are eligible
to receive matching gift contributions from Wells Fargo Foundation.
Gifts must be to specific schools, school districts or educational
foundations. All recipient institutions must be nonprofit,
tax-exempt organizations recognized by the Internal Revenue
Service.
