Online payment changes and information for Auto Lease accounts

Beginning July 17, 2009, Wells Fargo Auto Finance will no longer offer the option of paying a customer vehicle lease using the Online Payment Services website.  The following payment options remain available for your continued use: 

Automatic Payment: Save time, money and worry. Put your payments on automatic and let us do the work. This is an electronic debit initiated by Wells Fargo in the amount of your monthly lease payment. Contact us at 1-800-559-3557.

Payment by Phone: We are available to take your payment 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Call our automated phone system at 1-800-559-3557. Wells Fargo Bank may impose a fee.

Store: Your lease payments are accepted at any Wells Fargo Bank branch. Contact us or visit wellsfargo.com to find the nearest location.

Online Bill Pay Through Your Financial Institution:  If you have a checking or savings account with Wells Fargo, you can login to www.wellsfargo.com and use Online Bill Pay.  Learn more about Wells Fargo Online Bill Pay.

If you do not bank with Wells Fargo, contact your financial institution to learn more about their online bill payment options.

When setting up your lease payments through your financial institution website, be sure to use the following payment address:

  • Wells Fargo Auto Finance, Inc.
  • PO Box 29704
  • Phoenix, AZ 85038-9704

Mail: Mail your payment using the payment remittance coupon attached to your statement and the enclosed envelope.

How do I know if I have an Auto Lease account or an Auto Loan account?
If your account number begins with 500, it is a Lease.
If your account number begins with 004, 501, 502 or 504, it is a Loan.  Loan information
What is the last date I'll be able to make a payment on the current Online Payment Services website?
This website will be available through July 16, 2009, and you can make payments up until 8:00 pm Pacific Time on that day.  You will not be able to post-date payments past that date.
What happens to the payments I have previously scheduled?
Any payments scheduled to be made on or before July 16, will be processed. The system will not allow you to schedule payments beyond that date.
