Online payment changes for Auto Loan accounts

Why is Wells Fargo Auto Finance making this change? I just got enrolled on the other site!
While this change may seem confusing at first, moving all online payment services to www.wellsfargo.com will make it easier and more convenient for you to manage your auto loan account using one website instead of two. Learn more about the many services available through Wells Fargo Online.
What is the last date I'll be able to make a payment on the current Online Payment Services website?
This website will be available through July 16, 2009, and you can make payments up until 8:00 pm Pacific Time on that day.  You will not be able to post-date payments past that date.
What happens to the payments I have previously scheduled?
Any payments scheduled to be made on or before July 16, will be processed.  The system will not allow you to schedule payments beyond that date.

Accessing your account using Wells Fargo Online®

Will my user ID and password transfer from the current Online Payment Services website to www.wellsfargo.com?
No, your username and password will not transfer from this website to www.wellsfargo.com.  If you are currently enrolled for Wells Fargo Online account access, you will not need to enroll again.  If not, you will need to set up your username and password. Enroll now.
Can I start using Wells Fargo Online® now to access my account
Yes, if you have an Auto Loan account you can access it online today at www.wellsfargo.com and start enjoying these benefits 24 hours a day, 7 days a week:

  • Update your personal information
  • Link multiple Wells Fargo accounts
  • Find your current payment and due date
  • View your account balance and payments made
  • Make payments from your Wells Fargo checking or savings account

How do I get online access to my Auto Loan account?
Signing up for account access is easy. Visit Wells Fargo Online and follow the instructions for setting up a username and password.
If I’m already signed up for online account access on www.wellsfargo.com, do I need to do anything different?
No, if you have already enrolled simply login and continue using that site to view account information and make payments from your Wells Fargo checking or savings account. On July 17, 2009, you will be able to start making payments from other financial institutions.
I forgot my user ID and password for Wells Fargo Online account access.  How can I find out what they were?
There is Username / Password Help available online or you can call customer service at 1-800-956-4442, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for login assistance.
Can I see the payments I’ve already made through the Online Payment Services website when I log into www.wellsfargo.com?
Yes, when you login to your account at www.wellsfargo.com you can view account information including all of your previous payments.

Making payments using Wells Fargo Online®

When will I be able to start making payments from my non-Wells Fargo checking or savings account on www.wellsfargo.com?
Beginning July 17, 2009, when you login to , you will be able to start making payments from any financial institution checking or savings account. The new payment choice will appear on the Payment Options screen and will look like this: I want to make a one-time payment from another financial institution.
Will I be able to post-date payments?
Wells Fargo Online will allow one-time same-day payments only.
Can payments be cancelled after they are submitted?
Once a payment has been submitted, it cannot be cancelled.  If you submit a payment in error, you will need to contact the financial institution the payment was made from to get information about cancelling the payment through them.
Will there be a charge for making a payment at www.wellsfargo.com?
Online payments is a free service from Wells Fargo; however, fees may be assessed and billed separately by your financial institution.
Can I set up more than one checking or savings accounts to make payments from?
Yes, you can. The system will store information for multiple bank accounts.
How can I be sure my payment was submitted?
When payments are submitted, you will receive two forms of notification.  One will be an email sent to the email address you supply when enrolling at .  The second will be an email alert sent to your messages inbox that you can view when logged into your account.

When I make a payment online at www.wellsfargo.com, how soon will it post to my account?
Payments made from any financial institution will post the same business day if made prior to 8:00 p.m. Pacific time. Payments made after 8:00 pm Pacific Time will post the following business day. Please note that Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays are considered non-business days. Funds must be available in your checking or savings account on the date your payment is scheduled. The date funds are actually withdrawn from your checking or savings account may vary depending on processing times.
