How the Loan Process Works

Our streamlined Loan Request Form usually takes 8 minutes or less to complete.  There's no cost and no obligation involved to apply. Please visit our Information Checklist to make sure you have all the information you need to get started. If you’d rather get started via the phone, please call 1-877-542-8837 to talk to your loan specialist.

After you submit your Loan Request Form, a loan specialist will call you (often the same day) to walk through your options and create a personalized solution based on your specific needs.

Once you decide on the solution that's right for you, the next step is faxing a few authorization forms so we can begin processing your loan. After we personalize a plan, additional documents will also need to be submitted to assist in handling your loan request. The quicker you can email or fax the documents, the faster your loan request can be processed.

As soon as your documentation is received, we’ll process your request as quickly as possible.

We’ll check your credit history, verify your income and confirm all necessary documents have been provided.  Then we’ll have an appraisal completed of your property, confirm ownership, and identify any liens against your property.

If your loan is approved, we'll get in touch with you to set up a "closing" at the nearest Wells Fargo Financial location.

At your "closing", we'll walk through the details of your new loan and have you sign the required documents.  It’s as easy as that!
