10/18/2007 - Wells Fargo Auto Finance named Non-Captive Lender of the Year

Wells Fargo Auto Finance has been named the Non-Captive Lender of the Year by the readers of F&I magazine. This is the second year in a row that Wells Fargo Auto Finance has received this honor.

The award, sponsored by Route One, was created to “recognize the outstanding service and excellence lenders have provided to dealers around the country” said Mike Jurecki, the CEO of Route One. "Congratulations to Wells Fargo Auto Finance on this prestigious award." Gary Lorenz, president of Wells Fargo Auto Finance, said, "We are honored and very proud to receive this award, especially because we were chosen by our dealers. This comes at a great time for us, following the launch of our new Full Spectrum Pricing® Program in August."

10/16/2007 - F&I Magazine Q&A with Brad Noel, SVP of Sales

Wells Fargo Auto Finance made enhancements recently to the prime segment of its full-spectrum lending program. Brad Noel, senior vice president of sales, spoke to the exciting changes in the new Full Spectrum Pricing® Program in a Q&A with F&I Magazine.

Here are some highlights:

Q: Wells Fargo is no stranger to full-spectrum lending. It has been at it for awhile now, correct? What’s been your experience so far?

A: Full spectrum has been our strategy for awhile now. In fact, a couple of years ago we were the first lender to truly offer a full-spectrum retail program with a competitive lease program within a one-service structure. We adopted this model because of the obvious synergies and efficiencies it created, but also because our dealers requested that we create such a program. The dealer community evolved to the point where dealers did not want multiple sales reps, credit analysts and funders from the same company, but still wanted to be able to turn to one company for their full range of financing needs.
