Wells Fargo Financial Acceptance Dedicates New Office Space in Chester’s The Wharf at Rivertown

The Company Also Announces a $20,000 Donation to Chester Community Improvement Project

Chester, Pa. – Nov. 15, 2004 – Wells Fargo Financial Acceptance, the auto-lending business of Wells Fargo Financial, celebrated its relocation to The Wharf at Rivertown in Chester with an open house and reception for civic, business and community leaders today.

The company also invested in its new community with the presentation of a $20,000 charitable donation to the Chester Community Improvement Project.

'We are excited about the relocation of this business unit’s headquarters to the redeveloped riverfront in Chester, which is a Keystone Opportunity Zone," said Gary Lorenz, president of Wells Fargo Financial Acceptance. "We are the first major tenant to move into the converted Chester Power Station, bringing an influx of jobs and economic development to the city."

Wells Fargo Financial Acceptance relocated from its outgrown facility near the airport into new office space at The Wharf at Rivertown this summer. Lorenz said with nearly 700 team members coming into the community in the renovated power plant along the river, the company will have a positive economic impact on the community by patronizing local businesses and employing local vendors.

"Our team members also desire to make a difference in Delaware County through initiatives like reaching out to Habitat for Humanity to form a partnership with that organization," Lorenz said.
